Congressmen Dave Reichert (R-WA) and John Larson (D-CT) re-introduced the Volunteer Responder Incentive Protection Act (VRIPA). A NATaT priority, VRIPA is a bipartisan bill that would provide a tax exemption on the benefits volunteer firefighters and emergency medical services (EMS) personnel receive from their communities.
