On December 21, 2020, Congress approved the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2021 (H.R. 133), which includes $1.4 trillion in annual appropriations for the federal government. In addition to providing FY2021 appropriations, H.R. 133 includes a $900 billion COVID-19 relief package; the Water Resources Development Act of 2020; extensions of certain tax breaks; energy provisions; legislation ending the practice of surprise medical billing; and the FY2021 Intelligence Authorization Act, among other items.
