The National Association of Towns and Townships Board of Directors met on February 27 and 28 in Washington, D.C. to review and approve its 2023 Federal Platform. Board members later visited with their congressional delegations to discuss a variety of issues addressed in the platform, including off-system bridges, volunteer driver mileage reimbursement, rural broadband deployment, and federal housing assistance for volunteer first responders.

More than 1,500 local government leaders and organizations from across the country, including NATaT-member state associations and individual NATaT members, signed a letter asking Congress
