The National Association of Towns and Townships Board of Directors met on February 26 and 27 in Washington, D.C. to review and approve its 2025 Federal Platform. Board members met with White House staff and congressional committees to discuss a variety of issues addressed in the platform, including support for direct funding for local roads and bridges, opposition to increasing truck weight limits, support for FCC Universal Service Fund contribution reform, and support for tax-exempt municipal bonds and maintaining the tax-exempt status of 501(c) organizations.
